Artesem is a Chilean company whose goal is to sell new agricultural products taking advantage of the superb weather conditions and fertile soils of the country’s central region. Artesem has favored and incorporated avant-garde technology to crops that have great economic potential but have mainly been craft cultivated in Chile.

To this end, we have carried out all the necessary research and field tests for various crops. That is how we have identified certain niches in the market that we can fulfill by yielding high quality products specified to meet the exact needs of each of those markets.

Popcorn variety corn is the star product of the range of crops we have developed so far. By introducing cutting-edge hybrids that sown in optimal weather and soil conditions reach their greatest potential in terms of quality and productivity, we have elevated this crop, which has been cultivated in Chile for ages, to superior quality levels. Modern sowing and harvest technologies, dehydration and preservation techniques, grant our corn first-rate status equal to the best crops of the American corn-belt. Guaranteed.

Evidence of this is the growing demand for this product in Pacific Coast markets such as Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Central America.

Meanwhile, to meet growing international demand, we have been jointly developing with Chile’s foremost snack manufacturer a new line of value added products: mainly microwave popcorn. We have also been supplying the smaller market of organic popcorn at a reduced scale. Other products in the first stages of production are: sunflower seeds, soybeans, and a variety of other beans.
